“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Luke 12:34
Once upon a time, there was. an orphan girl whose future was bleak. She knew it too, and she found herself hopeless, knowing she couldn’t change her predicament unless someone greater than herself would show her kindness.
Along came the king of the land, and instead of passing by this needy young girl, he stopped the royal procession. He saw straight to her heart, all her needs were obvious to him. And unlike many other rulers, he cared. He was deeply moved and loved her from the moment he saw her.
He invited her to come and live in the palace with Him and his family; not as a subject, but as a fully adopted daughter. The girl went from being a destitute orphan to a princess instantly, all because of the compassion of the King.
Obviously, the newfound princess became totally invested in the Kingdom of the outrageously loving Father. She quickly realized this was not a stepdaughter, Cinderella deal. She was seated at the head table with the King, served the same meals he ate, and adorned with a beautiful headdress where ashes of mourning used to rest.
The daughter quickly asked what she could do personally with all the riches she had been given. She remembered all of the hurting and hungry orphans she used to roam the streets with, lost and looking for real food to eat. She sincerely wanted to share her father’s compassion and endless riches, and she knew He had a supply that would never run out.
So she set to work, always asking her Father for his wisdom and direction on how to work out this vision for the needy in the land. Though he was busy, he was always available to impart his insight, and she was always blown away by the depth of his direction. She made some mistakes, but every time, her father forgave her and saw her heart was pure and desiring to build her father’s kingdom in love.
The King was diligent in guarding the work his daughter was doing with his soldiers. No thief or power was able to overcome her plans. The people whom she was touching with her father’s riches were forever changed and fell in love with her father, the King as they saw he was a good ruler, worthy of their adoration and respect.
This is your story, daughter.
Adopted by the King of Kings.
Adorned with His Endless riches.
Moved to reach out and invest His love in the Kingdom, knowing the Father is guarding this work with powers stronger than the darkness.
What’s stopping you from building His Kingdom and storing treasure that won’t fade?
Are you operating in the riches of your Father? Or are you stuck believing you have to provide for yourself?
“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.33 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Luke 12:32-34

What if you could ask Jesus what the most important thing is?
Wouldn’t it simplify your life? Wouldn’t it help you narrow your focus, time and energy?
Wouldn’t it help you truly live?
I’ve got good news, sisters! He has answered this question already in His Word, and His answer is just as much for us today as it was for those who asked it when he walked the earth.
Here’s the Story:
“One of the teachers of religious law was standing there listening to the debate. He realized that Jesus had answered well, so he asked, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?
Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31
Life Simplified
Love the Lord with ALL of your HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH
But how? What does that mean in real life?
This is a question I’ve been asking myself for years, so I sat down searched His Word for direction, put it into a devotional format, and I want to journey through it with you!
Tell me about the Study!
It’s a four week study
Week 1: Heart
Week 2: Soul
Week 3:Mind
Week 4: Strength
Each week has 5 days of study that you need just 15 minutes to complete
Each day of the study consists of two pages. The first page starts with a short prayer, a short passage of scripture to read, and reflective questions. The second page is a beautiful display of His Word, with a sequence of receiving His Word in love, Giving God love in return through applying His Word to our lives, and making a plan to love others, helping us to be intentional about fulfilling the greatest commandment!
I’ll be blogging through the study right here everyday, so don’t forget to follow the blog to receive emails on weekdays.
I will also be posting one video a week on Sundays to get you motivated and keep you ready to start the next week with some insight and encouragement to help you along the way!!!
Can’t buy the study? No worries! I’ll be posting a free scripture writing plan that correlates to the material and posting it here on Monday.

Wow. I can’t even tell you how much I needed this today. It’s crazy how God works. And I’m just saying this… this got to me. I’ve definitely been stuck thinking I can provide for myself. I am the daughter of the King so why am I not laying my treasures up in Heaven. Thank you so much for your wisdom.
